21A: Reading Reflection No. 2

Theme: In the Makers: The industrial Revolution by Chris Anderson the general theme is that Chris Anderson is giving advice to Entrepreneurs on how you have to adapt to your surroundings. He gives an example of comparing us to a toy company. In the near future your not going to need toys as much because of 3D printing and other invention that are making owning a tow company a lot harder.

Connection to ENT: This book connects to ENT because this is all things that you have to take into your opinion of opening a business and becoming an entrepreneur. The increase in technology could have many different opinions and effects on a Entrepreneur. For example a positive affect is that it could make things like producing products cause lower production costs and other costs you might have.

Designing an exercise: if I could add one more exercise to this class it would be getting away from all the exercises being based off your opportunity belief and adding things like field trips to businesses or something like that.

The biggest surprise: My biggest surprise when reading this book is the knowledge that Chris Anderson had regarding toy company and technology. From the way he was speaking it sounded like he might have had experience in the past with companies like this.
